Noelle and Wynn appeared in 2 books in Laura Stamps' Witchery series but I haven't started that series yet so this was my first introduction to the couple. Although I'm planning on reading The Witchery series I don't think it matters if you read The Rune Witch series before hand - I didn't feel like I was missing anything in this story because I've not met the couple before.Noelle and Wynn have been together for 5 years now but Wynn only recently convinced Noelle to let him move in. Things are going really well between them but Noelle is still terrified of long term relationships and is putting off marrying Wynn. Wynn on the other hand is determined to get a ring on Noelle's finger & I'm looking forward to seeing how far he will go to try and convince her. Personally I think Noelle is crazy - Wynn is super hot, they have an amazing sex life and you can see how well they suit each other as a couple - what else could she possibly ask for? I'm hoping we get to see more of the reasons behind Noelle's reluctance to commit in future installments.
I already know from reading the first part of Laura's serial novel A Vampire's Kiss how good Laura is at writing hot smexy scenes and Sex Magick didn't disappoint. The heat levels of this novella will make your eyeballs steam! Wynn is one sexy shapeshifter who I'm looking forward to getting to see more of!
Sex Magick is a great quick read if you're looking for an erotic romance story with steamy sex alongside a couple's daily life. I enjoyed watching Noelle & Wynn together and am looking forward to seeing what happens to them in the rest of the series.
