Send No Flowers was a light hearted and easy read but the story was fairly predictable. I'd guessed Pierce's secret and the reason he didn't want to get into a relationship fairly early on and was proved correct when it was finally revealed near the end of the book. To be honest I got a bit fed up with the way he was constantly pushing Alicia away and annoyed with her that she kept letting him come back for more without demanding an explanation for his behaviour.
Although the story is predictable I did like the characters and I enjoyed it as an easy fast read that didn't require too much concentration. If you're looking for something with an intricate plot line then this probably isn't the book for you but if you're just after a sweet, somewhat steamy romance then it would be worth a try.
